basically this is just to show how I draw ruffles -- I'm not really sure how to explain it... sorry ; u ; ))
I tend to BS them and somehow it kinda looks okay! XD

As an exercise, I used a photo in this one to show how a photo is great for practicing shapes of ruffles!
After practicing with a visual aid, you'll be able to imagine it more easily in your mind and no longer need refs. ;3

So the basic principle is to:
- determine where the folds come from
- determine the edge of the cloth
- then define the ruffles by drawing the edge of the folds
