How long have you been drawing (digitally)?
Since 2006!
I started drawing digital art for myself and other people on gaiaonline (an avatar forum community) since 2005-6 starting with MSPaint, and scanned pen drawings that I coloured in Open Canvas. It gave me tons of practice and chances to work on developing my drawing and colouring style. Also, I've always enjoyed seeing people's reactions when they receive art, as it inspires me to continue drawing.
If you're really curious, you can check out my old photobucket account that has tons of old art XD

What program do you use?
SAI
sometimes GIMP for animation

What do you use to draw?
Wacom Bamboo Tablet (model MTE-450) for drawing and an optic mouse for pixel art.
For traditional art, I use 0.5mm B lead, Pilot fineliner, Pilot Razor Point pen, drawn on regular copy paper or random sketchbooks
For colouring, I use Crayola pencil crayons and PILOT COLOR ENO coloured leads (0.07mm; light blue, orange, and red, primarily ^_^)

What do you use to record speedpaint videos?
I use Debut Video Capture Software. It's free to use and download, and I record the files as .avi.
I compile the videos (very simple editting: speed up video, add captions and music) in Windows Movie Maker.

How did you find your style?

I found my style by drawing often and making changes gradually to reflect my preferences (cutesy, big eyes, shortish torsos, bigger hands/feet) and practicing on increasing the range of things I enjoy drawing.

I think you have found your 'style' when you are happy with your art and can keep it fairly consistent (have common threads throughout your art, even as you continue to experiment). I love to create multiple "styles'' of drawing by altering proportions, lineart thickness, colouring style, finishing effects, etc. (In my commission journal, I offerlike 6 types of chibies haha)
Here's a bit of a timeline map for my chibies and regular art:

Please contact me if you see someone else posting my work.

How do you get inspired to draw?
I just draw what I want, when I want. XD
This way, I'm always enjoying the drawing process. I like to draw challenging things, with many details. Sometimes I am only feeling up to drawing something simple.
I get inspired to make my OCs from thinking of random themes or sets of objects to base them on. I also like to conjure up snippets of stories (that I never quite flesh out, but it's enough to get my drawings going) ^ w ^
I usually break my art blocks by drawing Legend of Zelda fanart. That series gives me a lot of inspiration <3

Are you open for commissions?
Please check my front page for the current art status. Keep an eye open for journals that announce opening slots. ^^b

Thoughts on styles?
I do think people can develop a signature look for their art, such that it becomes recognizable to other people and distinguishable from fellow artists' work. It reflects their personal preferences and sense of aesthetics. A style CAN BE an identifier for the artist.

I am proud of how my art changes over time. Once my art changes I don't have the desire to change it back to how it was in the past, because I would feel a burden of trying to draw in a certain way that I don't enjoy any longer.

As for people emulating the styles of other artists...I think it's totally fine and a good part of learning and exploring techniques in drawing and colouring.
But, I personally feel cheated if someone copies exactly how I draw and sells commissions in that style. It is like plagiarism...

I think it's not good for the art community when people produce "bootleg" products. They make art in a style someone else worked hard to develop and they sell it for cheaper. That hurts the artist you're copying, you know? Devaluing their efforts and experience gained over the years.

Just copying others does not lead to growth as an individual artist. You have to take bits and pieces from your inspirations and then mix these with your personal tastes and experiments. You need to put your own initiative and creativity on the canvas!

I have ZERO tolerance for tracers and people who use my art as a base. There is no reason for anyone to take another person's work as a shortcut.

If you are caught red-handed, don't insult the original artist and say it wasn't traced when you know in your heart what was done. Own up to your action and strive to work harder next time! It's insulting when you deny what was done despite the clear evidence (overlays of both arts match up)

Can I request something?
In general, I  may accept requests related to series that I enjoy (LOZ, megaman, professor layton, ace attorney, pokemon...to name the major ones). I won't take requests for original characters or series that i am not familiar with.
The exception is if I open a request journal that specifically calls for any request ^_^

What are your prices for commissions?
See here for the styles I offer and their prices.

Can I art trade with you? (art trades are closed atm!)
Please wait until I post a journal about my interest in looking for art trade partners!
I am picky about character designs -- details, unique traits, colour schemes and distinction from other people's OCs are the factors that I consider. I also consider if I like your art style and whether there is something magnetizing/novel/unique about it!~ <3
IMPORTANT: I consider art trades to be like commissions. If someone has finished their part, I consider that to be "payment sent". I will finish trades as soon as I can -- never prioritizing later commissions over the trade. If you don't consider trades the same priority as commissions, then don't bother asking me to trade.

:star: If you want to trade art with someone, a REALLY bad way of asking is to start off with: "I don't don't think my art is equal to yours, but would you..."
This shows lack of confidence and will make the other person automatically doubt your abilities. If it's the case, go practice more until you can be proud of your arts! Then, you are more ready to trade with others.

Can I draw you something?
Sure! I love getting art as much as the next person, haha!

Do you have favourite artists on dA?
Sure I do! Here are some of them! ^ w ^

I always love to see their uploads! <33

What textures do you use?
These are my favourite ones to use:

What's your favourite Zelda game?
Favourite game to play is Breath of the Wild and Wind Waker
Favourite version of the characters to draw is Skyward Sword
Most hours logged is in Hyrule Warriors LOOOL
