What I draw and do not draw

I will draw original characters, avatars, characters you have adopted, and real people.

HOWEVER, visual references must be provided to show colours, hair style, clothing, and other details that you want me to get correct. If details are unclear, I will ask you to clarify during the ordering process.

If a reference is a screenshot from a game, please note that my interpretation of what I see may differ from what you see. To ensure I see the same details as you do, please provide clear, drawn examples of the details or describe them to me in your order.

Please remember, if I make a mistake because you did not clarify the detail during the ordering process, then it will cost you extra money to get the art corrected.

I will not draw nsfw subject matter (that is my discretion).

My art is for non-commercial, private use. This means the commissioner cannot use the art for profit (selling merchandise with my art on it, in advertisements, nor selling access to unwatermarked version, etc). You may use the commissioned arts for personal prints (also stickers, charms - as long as you aren't selling them!), wallpapers, page decoration, character profile pages...

By sending this order form, you agree that you will be using your own PayPal account, not your family member or friend's accounts. You also confirm that you have read all the Conditions at the bottom of the commission page and agree to follow my policies on extra fees, use of the finished art, and how the art will be completed and sent to you.
You will verify the final details of your order form before paying the invoice. Tell me any changes to your order before you pay, so I can alter the invoice accordingly. Once the invoice is paid, I will do what was ordered.

I have the right to refuse an order that I am not interested in doing or if my workload is already enough for the current batch of orders.

Sending money

I will send you an invoice to the paypal email you provided on the order form.
Once it is paid in full, I will start the order.
Please be 100% sure about your order details because once you pay, I will follow what was ordered. If you are the first person on my to-do list, I may finish the commission within 3 hours of payment. Changes to finished art will cost an extra charge.

Receiving the Art

I will upload the art to my dA gallery. Your username will be tagged in the description as the owner of the character, as well as in the tagging system. The character designer will also be included in the description.

The version that is uploaded is the full resolution. For images larger than 500x500 pixels, I will upload a watermarked version in my dA gallery (from April 2015 onwards) and send you the unmarked version via Note.

The image file format is .PNG by default. I can save a .JPG if you require it, just let me know.

If you do not want the art uploaded on my dA/tumblr/etc, the commission will cost 1.25 times regular price.
This means you also cannot upload it to a site for public access.

The PRICES SHOWN are for single (1) characters.
For couples (2) with interaction, the price is DOUBLE normal price +$10CAD for chibies or +$15CAD for non-chibies.

If the character design is especially detailed, I may increase the price, depending on the style of art and the complexity of the character.

This is non-negotiable. If you cannot afford the extra charges then change to a simpler character or order another time. I will not work extra half an hour or more on your order to cover the details for free. Or, you can opt to allow me to simplify the design (this still means no edits after the image is done without extra charges, so be clear what details need to be kept)

- gradient hair colour unless the colouring style is flat (no shading)

- tattoos, patterns, clothes with many small details like belts, clasps, trims, lace, ruffles

- feather/insect wings, companions/pets, outfits with many layers/colours/patterns

- translucent clothing/accessories

- additional details around the character (symbols, magic, detailed halo, hand-held items or weapons, elements, etc)

Non-chibies

I usually go straight from sketch to colouring, with little or no overpainting, so the lines are a bit rough
note* clean line art can be requested at time of ordering: add +25% price

some forms are not drawn out completely only suggested by lines)

Please link a piece from my gallery AND show me what your character looks like
so I can give you a price, depending on what you're looking for.

The prices below are the BASE prices for my regular style art with sketch lineart, colour, and shading (like shown above). Clean lineart, complex character designs, backgrounds, and multiple characters in the drawing will bring the prices up as I see fit. One WIP will be provided to show the character's expression, pose, and background layout for the commission. This is your chance to ask for changes free of charge. Anything changed after the final version will cost you extra fees.

Default is a white background, solid or gradient background, or transparent (your choice)
If you'd like scenic backgrounds, there will be a variable additional charge depending on what you are looking for (I'm better with natural backgrounds compared to architecture)

If you are looking for sketches or line art the prices will be estimated according to the details of the character

I can provide estimated prices depending on what you want to order.

_{COMMISSIONERS MUST READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS BELOW:}

Making Orders. I have the right to refuse orders. They are not first come, first serve. Fill out the order form thoroughly and carefully. If you miss out on telling me a detail, please make sure to amend it ASAP and inform me before you send payment. It is your responsibility to provide me the details that I will need to do a successful job.

Payment. The commission must be paid in full via PayPal before I start on the order. No eChecks. Either transfer the funds from your bank to your PayPal or use the existing balance to pay the cost of the order.

Works in progress (WIP). If you would like to see a WIP (sketch) of your commission please inform me in the order form. They are .png images and will be uploaded in my Scraps or Sta.sh folder. There is a limit of one (1) per order, unless you pay an additional $4 CAD for extra WIPs. It costs me extra time to pause work and wait for your feedback.

This is your chance to tell me what you want changed: expressions, details, etc. Please don't be shy if something really doesn't sit well with you. I do my best to capture the character's personality but sometimes I do make mistakes, especially if it wasn't clear from the order.

Changes to final image. I will only make changes to the final piece if it was an error on my part (i.e. I missed a detail that you had provided in the order).

If it's a change you want and I did not have clear, obvious information when you ordered the art, I will not make the changes unless additional fees are paid (exact amount to be determined, depending on the scale of the change). The responsibility is on you to ensure your order contains the details you want me to follow. I will not redraw commissions unless payment is sent for a second order.

Use of my art. Commissioned pieces are for private use only by the commissioner. You can use it for banners, graphics, personal prints, desktop wallpapers etc, but you cannot use it for any profit. This means my art should not appear on any product that is sold.

If I find that you use it for profit, then I will not accept your commissions in the future. Commissioners are also allowed to upload the art where they wish, provided my signature is not removed and a link is provided back to my dA page onisuu OR the page of the original upload OR credit as onisuu @ deviantart. If you are reuploading my art, please upload a watermarked version if it is for public galleries

Rights to the art. The rights to the art remain with me. I am the creator of the art and you only have the rights to your character and the usage of the unwatermarked art. If you are selling your character rights (and art of that character) to another person, you cannot charge them more money than you paid me for the rights to the unwatermarked commissioned art I did for you.

Private commissions. If you request the commission to be private (I cannot upload it to my gallery on dA and or Tumblr) then the price will be 1.25x regular price. This is because I lose out on my chance to display my current skills for potential customers. Normally I own all rights to the artworks to showcase in my portfolios. You cannot use my art on any product that you sell.

It is okay for you to upload watermarked versions to personal picture albums /collections such as photobucket, weebly, toyhou.se, etc, but please credit me as 'onisuu' in the title/description of the upload.

Refund policy. The amount of money that can be returned depends on how far I have gone on the commission at the time of refund request. Please note, refunds will not return PayPal fee amounts back to you, so you may receive 3-5% less than the original amount you had sent. Percentages returned are based on the amount of money I received (meaning: amount you sent - paypal fees = amount I received; I calculate refunds from the final amount)

not started: 100% of the money
sketch: 60% of the amount + sketch is sent
line art: 30% of the amount + line art is sent
completed art: no refunds

By commissioning me, it means you have read and accepted all the terms outlined above.
You will adhere to the policy of using the art for personal, non-profit purposes and provide all image credits to me, onisuu (onisuu.deviantart.com)
